North Penn Logistics Center
Logistics Property Company (Logistics) is a Chicago based industrial real estate company focused on the acquisition, development, and management of modern logistics properties. Looking to expand to the East Coast, Logistics purchased a portion of a pre-approved land development site from the Maguire Hayden Real Estate Company. RHJ had previously assisted Maguire Hayden with the land development plans, and was recommended to Logistics to provide the design for two (2) new ground-up light industrial storage buildings.
RHJ’s final design for both buildings incorporated key architectural elements that made them distinct Logistics properties. Our design featured undulating tilt-up concrete panels, alternating panel positions to provide depth, and the utilization of Logistics’ color palette to create distinguished facades unique to the Logistics brand.
The interior of both buildings featured a thirty-two-foot clearance, providing ample height for tenants looking for valuable high-pile storage space. In fact, prior to the first building being completed, a well-known large home improvement retailer signed a full building lease for Building B.
